Callaway is a well-known brand in the golf industry, recognized for its innovation and quality. Here's an overview of some of the key Callaway golf clubs:
Callaway’s range of golf clubs includes options for all aspects of the game, from driving off the tee to chipping around the greens, making it a popular choice among golfers of all levels.
Topgolf Callaway has made official what many have been expecting over the last month. The company is officially splitting up.
In an announcement to investors late yesterday, Topgolf Callaway announced it will spin off the Topgolf business and create two separate and independent companies. Topgolf will go one way. Callaway golf equipment and active lifestyle brands will go another.
You can call it an amicable divorce.
You can also call it a reset to January of 2021, before the Topgolf-Callaway merger.
The split is expected to be finalized by the second half of 2025.
For years, golfers have debated whether forged clubs are better than their cast counterparts.
Our data-driven testing at MyGolfSpy has proven there’s little to no performance difference between the two. The ball doesn’t know (or care) whether a club is forged or cast.
But what we haven’t yet explored are the differences between forged and cast clubs at a granular level.
Until now.
What if we could put a forged and cast club under an electron microscope and understand on (literally) a microscopic level WHY a golfer might prefer one to the other?
Finding the right golf ball is hard, which is why we recommend getting fitted for a golf ball. That said, a good ball fitter is hard to find (harder still if you’re looking for a brand-agnostic option), so we didn’t even put Do get fitted on this list (even though I think you should).
What you’ll find here is what I suppose you might call general advice – a short list of Dos and Don’ts to help you avoid making the big mistakes when choosing a golf ball.
If you only take one piece of advice from this post, make it this one.
Avoid refinished (sometimes marketed as ‘refurbished’) golf balls.
Refinished golf balls have only one thing going for them: They’re cheap. The problem with refinished balls is, well, absolutely everything else.
Shopping for new golf gear can feel as daunting as hitting a tee shot after the slow foursome in front lets you play through.
But it doesn’t have to be.
I’ve bought, tested and worn well over 100 golf shoes, and have learned a thing or two about what makes some inherently better than the rest. Unfortunately, there are also few pitfalls that you MUST avoid if you want to end up with something that isn’t a waste of your time and money.
There are loads of things you should avoid. Don’t buy without trying on and definitely don’t buy something online unless there is a liberal return policy.
But the biggest mistake I see golfers make is far less obvious.

If you were an artist and golf was your canvas, what would you paint? Would you keep things plain and white or would you add your own splash of color?
Golf and, by extension, golf footwear, has largely forced golfers into a shoe-shaped box of expressionless monotony. There’s enough boring footwear out there for all of us.
What if your footwear could be an extension of your personality and love for the game rather than merely the means to help you plod around the golf course?
For decades, golf has been boring. Expressionless. Mundane. Eastside Golf is hoping to change that (and invite more golfers into the fold) with their latest collaboration with NIKE.
Entitled “Everyone’s Game”, the two-shoe collection plays on the blank canvas theme. The all-white shoes come with six different NIKE swooshes so you can make the shoes your own.
