Our Favorite Junior Golf Shirts – Just In Time for Golf Camp

As a mom, I appreciate the variety of junior golf shirts available today. When I was a kid, golf shirt options were hot, itchy and not very stylish. Thankfully, things have improved a lot. If you have kids heading to golf camp this summer or tagging along with you to the driving range or course, here are some of our favorite junior golf shirts in 2025.

Vineyard Vines: Best for boys

The Vineyard Vines kids’ golf shirts are our favorite for boys. There are three models: Sankaty, Surf and Edgartown. If you have young golfers, you’ll want the Sankaty. It’s a performance polo and it comes in a wide range of styles and colors.

My son tends to be hard on clothes but these polos hold up great. He’s 11 and particular about patterns and designs and Vineyard Vines always has options he actually likes.

Vineyard Vines also has a few polo shirts for girls but they’re only in traditional cotton. The shirt is nice, and my daughter has worn it on and off the course, but I’m hoping they start offering some girls’ shirts in the performance fabric soon.

✅ Holds up well even with rough use
✅ Great selection of colors and patterns kids will actually wear

❌ Girls’ shirts are only available in cotton

Sunday Swagger: Most fun

At first, my kids weren’t sure about Sunday Swagger’s bright colors and loud patterns. But once they tried them, these shirts quickly became favorites. They’re well-made and comfortable and the brand constantly adds new, fun designs to its lineup.

One thing I love is that the collar holds up well even after frequent use. I noticed the same things when I tested the women’s Sunday Swagger golf shirts.

The styles will never bore you and they have matching options for parents. Sunday Swagger has something for the whole family if you’re having a family golf tournament or scramble this summer.

✅ Bright, fun patterns that kids end up loving
✅ Comfortable and well-made

❌ Not as many plain or subtle options

Bad Birdie: Options for boys and girls

Bad Birdie has quickly become my daughter’s go-to brand. She loves the fit and the patterns are always fun. Her absolute favorite is the Paint Splatter 3 Youth shirt. It’s her top pick any time we head to the course.

Bad Birdie has plenty of styles for the boys, too. I’ve found the shirts to hold up well, don’t fade and the performance fabric keeps the kids cool even on hotter days.

✅ Great fit for junior golfers
✅ Patterns kids actually like wearing

❌ Priced a little higher than other options on the list

adidas Kids Golf Shirts: Great for simple solids

As fun as all the patterns and designs are for junior golf shirts, sometimes you still need the simple solids. adidas does a nice job if you’re looking for solid colors or a simpler style.

The quality is good, the shirts are comfortable and they’re perfect if your kid prefers something less flashy. These also go on sale often so stock up when the price drops below $30.

✅ Simple, clean look
✅ Lightweight and breathable performance material

❌ Limited pattern/design variety
❌ Runs a little slim—might need to size up

PUMA Kids Polos: Designs are getting better

My kids wore basic PUMA shirts for years. They fit well and were comfortable but the designs were limited. PUMA stepped up their game.

They offer more interesting designs and colors now, which my kids like. Plus, they have matching skorts for girls, making outfit planning easier.

✅ More style and color than past PUMA lines
✅ Matching skorts for girls available

❌ Mostly muted colors for boys, not much for the kids who want bright like Sunday Swagger

PGA TOUR Apparel: Best for budgets

Kids grow quickly, which is great to watch, but can get expensive. If paying $45 or more for a golf shirt isn’t practical, check out PGA TOUR Apparel.

Their shirts are typically around $24.99 and I’ve even found them cheaper on sale. My son owns a few; they’re good quality, comfortable and they keep expanding the available styles.

✅ Budget-friendly without sacrificing too much on quality
✅ Clean designs with just enough style

❌ No options for girls
