What we found in 2025 testing is that PXG putters can be strong on long-range putts but several models struggled in the all-important mid-range zone.
If you’re confident on short putts but want more consistency on long lags, the Milled Tour Series Brandon and Battle Ready II Bat Attack are your best bets. Both showed above-average performance from 20 feet with the Bat Attack standing out thanks to its high-MOI stability.
For golfers who get shaky over those knee-knockers, the PXG Allan was the standout. It produced one of the best short-putt scores in the entire zero-torque field and paired that with solid long-putt numbers. One thing to be aware of is that it ranked near the bottom on mid-range putts which can limit scoring upside.
The Battle Ready II Closer was the outlier. Its poor showing at medium range, where the biggest differences between putters usually show up, makes it tough to recommend unless you already roll eight- to 12-footers with confidence.
PXG Milled Tour Series Brandon – Traditional blade with PXG’s milled precision and a clean, classic look. It held its own in testing thanks to strong long-putt results (–7.0), though short (–0.2) and medium (–1.8) numbers kept it from climbing higher on the leaderboard.
PXG Battle Ready II Closer – Compact blade from PXG’s Battle Ready II line, designed for stability in a smaller profile. Testing showed weakness on mid-range putts (+3.4), while short (–0.8) and long (–4.3) were serviceable but not standout.
PXG Battle Ready II Bat Attack – High-MOI mallet with PXG’s distinctive “fang” design and heavy perimeter weighting. It impressed on long putts (–10.6), ranking among the best in its category, though its short (–3.3) and medium (–5.5) scores were more middle of the pack.
PXG Allan – Zero-torque mallet with a clean alignment-focused shape built to reduce face rotation. It excelled on short (–8.0) and long putts (–8.3), but struggled at medium range (–2.6), leaving it just outside the top performers overall.
