Best-Selling Golf Training Aids Under $100

Some golf training aids are everywhere, constantly advertised and hard to miss. But what are golfers actually buying? We asked the team at GolfTrainingAids.com to share their best-selling training aids under $100. Here they are, ranked with the top seller at No. 1.

1. Divot Board

The Divot Board has been golftrainingaids.com’s top-selling product for three years in a row. When it first came out, I was sent one to test and I was really impressed with it. You get instant feedback, it’s affordable and it held up much better than I thought it would.

I think a lot of golfers struggle with low point and path and grass doesn’t give you the same feedback as the Divot Board does. It’s a good training aid for indoors as well. You don’t need to hit a ball to benefit from it.

2. Impact Bag

An Impact Bag is a great training aid for golfers of any level. This particular one is the original version and it is a few dollars more than some cheap knockoffs and alternatives. This bag takes a beating and you have to go with the original if you want durability.

The Impact Bag is great for working on a better impact position, improving compression and increasing consistency. This has been a top-five bestseller under $100 for 30 years.

Callaway Supersoft Cheers: Golf Balls for the Wine Lover

I’m not sure I’m entirely onboard with the tagline “Raise a glass to performance“, but I’ll concede that the Limited Edition Supersoft Cheers might be the perfect ball for those who wish to raise a glass to soft feel.

Callaway says the Limited Edition Supersoft Cheers “delivers perfect feel, long distance, and celebration on every hole”. I suppose that makes it ideal for golfers who like their drives straight and their wine glasses full.

If nothing else, this limited edition stuff is almost invariably fun.

Boxes of Supersoft Cheers include sleeves of red, white, rosé, and champagne logo balls, so there’s something for everyone, or at least everyone whose golf bag pairs well with their wine rack.

While not explicitly framed as a Mother’s Day offering, Supersoft Cheers would make a great gift for the golfing mom in your life. They come with the silent acknowledgement that you’re the reason she drinks, but at least now she has something to lose other than her sanity.

American-Made: Straight Forward Model A Irons Take A Swing At Domestic Manufacturing

In an industry where offshore production has become the norm, a newcomer is taking golf back to its roots, both in design and manufacturing location. Straight Forward Golf has announced the production of its Model A Irons, recreating the only irons Robert T. “Bobby” Jones, Jr. ever designed, with a distinctly American manufacturing approach.

This limited initial run of 1,000 individually numbered sets comes with a price tag that might raise eyebrows: $3,232.32 per set.

Oof, but at least we’re having fun with numbers.

While premium-priced by any standard this side of Honma Beres, the cost provides an interesting window into what American-made golf clubs might cost in an era of potential tariffs and renewed focus on domestic manufacturing.

The Model A Irons draw their inspiration from the revolutionary Spalding Autograph Irons introduced in 1932. What made these clubs groundbreaking in golf’s Golden Age were innovations we now take for granted: matched lengths and lies, uniform swing weights, flanged soles and ribbed grips.

This Year’s Masters Didn’t Need Tiger To Break Ratings Records

If you weren’t watching Rory McIlroy’s win on Sunday afternoon, you’re going to need a good excuse.

Even non-golfers tuned in to see if Rory McIlroy could finally complete the career Grand Slam. Not that his die-hard fans wouldn’t have taken a regulation win but the playoff made it even more dramatic.

The 2025 Masters finale delivered in every way, including viewership.

The week started off shaky

Early reports indicated viewership was down for the first two rounds. The coverage averaged just 2.3 million viewers, a 28-percent drop from 2024.

We can chalk that up to people waiting for the weekend or deciding whether Rory would make a run but things got off to a rough start.

Motocaddy’s ME REMOTE: The Gateway Drug To Hands-Free Golf

For those of you who might have some place to be, I’m going to get right to the pertinent deets.

Motocaddy has just launched the new ME REMOTE, an entry-level remote-controlled trolley that offers:

The same handling experience as their premium M7 modelsMore than 100 yards of remote range with forward, left, right and reverse navigationAutomatic Downhill Control technology to prevent “runaway trolley syndrome”The flexibility to switch between remote and manual controlA price point that, in the electric trolley market, qualifies as “entry-level”

If you want to know more, stick around.

The electric trolley tipping point

Motocaddy’s announcement of an entry-level remote-controlled trolley isn’t just another product launch,. It’s perhaps the best indication yet that what was once a luxury niche has gone mainstream.

With more than 80 percent of Motocaddy’s U.S. sales coming in the remote-control category, it’s safe to say we’ve moved beyond early adopters and into the territory of cultural shift – or at least the beginnings of one. American golfers, long wedded to their riding carts, are increasingly ditching the wheel for the remote.

TaylorMade Taps The Nostalgia Vein Again With R7 Quad Mini

TaylorMade isn’t the only player in the mini driver game anymore but nobody’s having more fun with it. Since the forgettable AeroBurner mini era (blessedly short-lived), TaylorMade has leaned into its mini driver platform to reimagine what amounts to a greatest hits album for driver design. In the process, the company has tapped directly into the nostalgia vein of gearheads everywhere.

Let’s sprint through the timeline:

The Original One mini (2019) paid tribute to the Pittsburgh Persimmon, the club TaylorMade bills as the first metalwood. A throwback in name and shape, it marked the brand’s first real effort to bring a mini to the modern era.The 300 mini driver (2021) drew inspiration from the classic 300 Series, a line that was ahead of its time in segmenting products by player type. While those R&D buckets weren’t nearly as data-backed as today’s models, the 300 Series introduced the idea of fitting by profile – a groundbreaking idea at the time. The BRNR mini driver (2023, 2024) took the nostalgia dial and turned it up to 11. With copper accents, a reversible headcover and unmistakable nods to the late-‘90s Burner drivers, it was the reboot nobody knew they wanted. All that was missing was the Bubble Shaft.

Given the history, it’s fitting that the latest entry, the R7 Quad mini, reaches back to one of the most iconic drivers of the 2000s.

Reimagining a classic

While reasonable people can disagree over whether the R7 Quad is TaylorMade’s most iconic driver ever, it’s inarguably part of the pantheon. So it tracks that golfers will be drawn to TaylorMade’s latest mini, which blends signature elements of the original R7 Quad design with modern TaylorMade tech, all wrapped in a compact, maybe even cute, 305cc package.

The original R7 Quad was a milestone. It marked TaylorMade’s first foray into movable weights. The R7 Quad mini keeps that legacy alive with a four-weight system: two 13-gram weights and two four-gram weights. This allows for six unique trajectory settings. If you can’t quite wrap your head around that, see below.
