With fall approaching, golf season is still in full swing. Speaking of “swing,” we all swing at different speeds and that means no one driver is right for all of us.
If you swing at 105 mph or greater, these are the best golf drivers for you. Let’s take a look.
MOST WANTED SCORING
We have reformulated our 2022 Most Wanted results to a 100-point scoring system. This new system better identifies golf clubs to potentially help you shoot lower scores.
For drivers, we’ve split our key metrics into four categories: accuracy, forgiveness, distance and Strokes Gained. Each category is weighted through proprietary methodologies.
Data was collected using Foresight GCQuad Launch monitors. To minimize variables, all testers hit Titleist Pro V1 golf balls. Outliers were removed and data was aggregated before scores were calculated.

1. PING G425 MAX
PING G425 Max may not have been the longest driver for high swing speeds but it excels in accuracy and forgiveness. Having confidence in your driver is a key ingredient to success. Consistency and accuracy are two exceptional traits in a driver and can lead to better dispersion. What is there not to like?
2. MIZUNO ST-Z 220
Mizuno ST-Z 220 also is a cut above the field in terms of accuracy and forgiveness. Although below average in total distance, it offers tremendous consistency and playability. With each passing year, Mizuno continues to gain momentum in the metalwood market. Check it out.
3. TAYLORMADE STEALTH HD
Perhaps the least-mentioned driver in the TaylorMade Stealth driver family, TaylorMade Stealth HD, performs well for distance, accuracy and forgiveness. If you’re searching for a draw-biased club that displays consistency, this might be the driver for you.
4. CALLAWAY ROGUE ST TRIPLE DIAMOND LS
Ranking fourth is Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS. This driver blends distance with accuracy which makes it an appealing driver for high swing speed golfers. With its more fade-biased design and low-spinning characteristic, it has the potential to benefit higher-spinning golfers.
5. COBRA KING LTDx MAX
Rounding out the top five drivers for high swing speeds is COBRA KING LTDx Max. Despite being a higher MOI driver, LTDx Max packs a punch with distance and accuracy for high swing speed golfers. It offers adjustable weighting and loft settings which can help get you dialed in perfectly.
BOTTOM LINE
The goal of every golfer is lower scores. Through extensive testing and data-driven methodologies, we’ve been able to provide golfers with more thorough performance analyses to help them make better purchases. If your driver swing speed is greater than 105 mph, these are the best-performing drivers for this swing speed category.
This doesn’t necessarily mean one of these five will work for the majority of golfers. However, they all offer adjustable hosels that allow for more precision. This adjustability can enhance distance and forgiveness, generate optimal spin rates, create low or high launch conditions or allow for high MOI (moment of inertia).
