Hitting a Draw
Hitting a draw in golf involves intentionally curving the ball from right to left (for right-handed golfers) or from left to right (for left-handed golfers). This shot shape can add distance and help you navigate around obstacles on the course. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to hit a draw:
Grip Setup: Start with a proper grip. For a draw, a slightly strong grip is preferred. This means your top hand (left hand for right-handed golfers) should rotate slightly clockwise on the club handle, promoting a closed clubface at impact.
Alignment: Align your feet, hips, and shoulders slightly to the right of your target (for right-handed golfers). This alignment encourages the ball to start to the right and curve back to the left.
Stance and Ball Position: Position the golf ball slightly forward in your stance, closer to your front foot. This setup encourages an inside-to-outside swing path, which is essential for hitting a draw.
Swing Path: During your backswing, focus on taking the club back along your body line, which is slightly inside the target line. On the downswing, initiate the movement from your lower body, shifting your weight to your front foot. This helps create an inside-to-outside swing path.

TaylorMade's all-new P790 irons: 5 things you need to know
TaylorMade's four-generation P790 is loaded with more than enough tech to impress even the most discerning golfer.
The post TaylorMade’s all-new P790 irons: 5 things you need to know appeared first on Golf.
TaylorMade P790 Irons
It’s hard to talk about a new TaylorMade P790 without talking about the market change traceable to its influence. With P790 as the leader, the player’s distance category has exploded to become the second-largest within the iron market.
There are reasonable arguments to be made about which player’s distance iron came first but there’s little doubt the P790 set the category-defining standard.
While there are several things you could point to ,like performance or design, the ultimate key to P790’s success is simply the breadth of golfers who have them in the bag.
You’ll find them on the PGA TOUR’s senior circuit, in Brooke Henderson’s bag on the LPGA and, while you won’t find full sets, several PGA TOUR players carry P790 long irons as well.
Among the crowd of average golfers, P790 is played by everyone from plus handicaps to 20-something index golfers who want the look of a player’s iron that offers something closer to the forgiveness they need.

Callaway Paradym Super Hybrid
The new Callaway Paradym Super Hybrid is the answer you’ve been waiting for. That is, if you’ve been asking the right question.
That question, of course, is, “What’s bigger than a hybrid, smaller than a fairway wood and less expensive than a BMW?”
The new Callaway Paradym Super Hybrid is actually Super Hybrid 3.0. The first edition came out in 2019 and the second edition, the Epic Super Hybrid, debuted in 2021. Whether Callaway succeeds in making the Super Hybrid a new club category is an open question.
But you can’t say they aren’t trying.
A Different Kind of Crossover
Are you a fairway wood failure? If so, Callaway thinks the new Paradym Super Hybrid is for you.

The Best Golf Bags of 2023
Finding the best golf bag for your game can be a real challenge. There are a lot to choose from and no one wants to waste their money on a bag that doesn’t perform. No worries, though, in true MyGolfSpy style, we’ve put a lot of bags through the wringer to help identify a winner.
We’ve collectively spent thousands of hours using and testing golf bags. Our team of testers includes long-seasoned golfers and several beginners, too. We know that there isn’t one bag for every single golfer, especially since the way you use a golf bag may vary. The right golf bag for someone who loves to walk the course is different than the best bag for a cart-fanatic. So we’ve broken the article up into these categories:
Best Stand Golf BagsBest Cart Golf BagsBest Sunday Golf BagsBest Travel Golf BagsBuying Advice: How to Choose the Best Golf BagThe Best Golf Stand Bags of 2023
A golf stand bag is the typical choice for those who prefer to walk rather than ride. This is because of the built-in stand system (the legs) that allows the bag to be propped up off the ground. Most golf stand bags are lighter and easier to carry. A golf stand bag may also contain a cart strap pass-through for those days when riding sounds more appealing.
Storage, walkability, weight, extra features and dividers were the top considerations when choosing the best stand bags test.
Best Stand Bag 2023: The PING Hoofer
This bag hits all the marks. Our testers agreed that The PING Hoofer is stable, sturdy and full of useful storage. We love that each pocket has a purpose, making this bag as functional as possible.
