Old Head Links is located on a spectacular narrow peninsula jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean. The course plays out among the cliffs and caves along the coastline. The aptly named ‘Razor’s Edge’ hole is one of the most photographed golf holes in Ireland. With the Old Head Lighthouse as a backdrop and the waves of the Atlantic crashing against the left side.
This club has two fabulous 18-hole courses, The Stadium Course and The Castle Course, both designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr. The Stadium Course northwest of Stockholm opened in 2007 and is stunningly beautiful, situated directly on Lake Malaren by Bro Hof Castle. The par 3 17th is much like the famous island green at TPC Sawgrass.
This club in the ski resort of Crans-Montana in the spectacular Swiss Alps boasts courses designed by Seve Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus. Seve’s course has jaw-dropping views of Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn and hosts the Omega European Masters on the DP World Tour. The 7th hole perhaps its most iconic. As golfers emerge from the 6th green through dense woodland they are treated to one of the most awe-inspiring views in all of golf of the huge snow-capped Alps.
This stunning course, designed by Sir Henry Cotton, is famous for this iconic par-3 signature hole. One of the most photographed holes in Europe, you can play out sideways and chip into the green. But for those who love a challenge, going for the green requires a tee shot of an extremely daunting 230 yards over the cliffs across the ravines. It’s arguably the most famous hole in the Algarve with incredible views.

Hatton jumps to LIV Golf, teams up with Rahm
Tyrrell Hatton has left the PGA Tour to sign with the LIV Golf League, where he will be on Jon Rahm's team with Kieran Vincent and Caleb Surratt.
What the Hatton Signing Means for LIV
LIV Golf has snagged another top PGA Tour player.
A little over a month after poaching Masters champion Jon Rahm, LIV has signed Tyrrell Hatton to a deal reportedly worth up to $60 million. Hatton had earned just shy of $22 million in 128 PGA Tour starts.
Word spread on Monday when The Telegraph reported that Hatton was set to join Rahm’s Legion XIII team. The official announcement arrived Tuesday, confirming the news.
The LIV season begins this weekend in Mexico, and Hatton will be there for the opener. He had been expected to play on the PGA Tour this week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
This is not particularly surprising—Hatton has been mentioned repeatedly in rumors over the past few months—but it is another significant blow for the PGA Tour.

PGA Tour vs. LIV: Which Tour Has the Longest Hitters?
The PGA Tour and LIV Golf are working toward a partnership that could result in one global tour—or at least more cohesion between the two circuits.
Until that moment comes, if indeed it does, golf’s two biggest tours will continue to be compared.
We like to start with the majors. LIV players performed well in them last year, earning one victory (Brooks Koepka), getting into the mix at the Masters (Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed) and registering a top-five finish in the U.S. Open (Cameron Smith). If you add in LIV newcomer Jon Rahmn, the reigning Masters champion, it’s clear the league is still a key piece in the major conversation.
It’s also an interesting exercise to measure Strokes Gained among all players. Of the top 25 golfers in the Data Golf Rankings, only one (Rahm) is from LIV. Unlike with the Official World Golf Ranking, this data takes all tournaments into account. There is no doubt the game’s best play on the PGA Tour, even if a lot of the game’s biggest names have left.
But here is one more comparison we’re curious about: Does either tour have the edge in driving distance?
