How To Use a Golf Rangefinder (And How It Works)
Back in the day, not that long ago, relatively speaking in the annals of golf, if you wanted to know your yardage to the middle of the green, you looked for a sprinkler head on the course.

How to hit out of the Bunker
Hitting out of the sand, also known as a bunker shot, requires a specific technique to ensure a successful shot. Here are the basic steps to help you hit out of the sand effectively:
Select the Right Club: Choose a sand wedge or a lob wedge for bunker shots. These clubs are designed with a higher loft, which helps to get the ball out of the sand and onto the green more easily.
Open Your Stance and Clubface: Position your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart with your front foot flared open towards the target. Open the clubface by aiming it slightly to the right (for right-handed players) of the target.
Dig Your Feet In: Sink your feet into the sand to stabilize your stance. This will provide a solid base for your swing and prevent your feet from slipping during the shot.
Focus on the Sand Behind the Ball: Unlike shots from the fairway or rough, you want to hit the sand first when hitting from a bunker. Aim to strike the sand about 1-2 inches behind the ball. Visualize a spot in the sand where you want the club to make contact.

COBRA at 50: An OEM at the Crossroads
It’s hard to think of COBRA as 50 years old. After all, if you were alive in 1973, it’s hard to really wrap your head around the fact that it was 50 years ago.
Australian émigré Tom Crow launched COBRA Golf in San Diego in ’73 and, according to company lore, his goal was simple: Make great golf clubs for regular people at a fair price.
You can make a solid case that COBRA has done just that for the past half-century. And while it’s definitely the little brother in golf’s Big Five, COBRA’s legacy of real innovation rivals that of anyone in the business.
But the question facing COBRA at 50 is as stark as it is simple: Can the company be innovative enough to stay relevant enough in a harsh, unforgiving industry to make it another 50 years?
And can it deliver its message to the masses simply and in a way that will grab theirattention?

The ONE Golf Swing Trainer Review
There is a lot of cool gear in the golf equipment world that doesn’t always fit neatly into Most Wanted Tests or Buyer’s Guides. You still want to know how it performs. In our We Tried It series, we put gear to the test and let you know if it works as advertised.
What We Tried:
The ONE Golf Swing Trainer. A golf training aid designed to help with speed, power and timing.
Who Tried It:
Connor. Director of Soft Goods Testing and resident sneakerhead. I believe golf is better with a pair of cool shoes and comfortable joggers.
ONE Golf Swing Trainer to Rule Them All
At first glance, the ONE Golf Swing Trainer is an odd duck. The series of weights and resistance bands is honestly a little overwhelming at first. That said, the goal of the device is to help you train for speed, power or timing.
Based on your training preferences, the ONE Golf Swing Trainer can be configured to work on any of these three attributes. Can ONE club really do it all? I put it to the test.

Q: Are direct-to-consumer clubs like DTC balls when it comes to manufacturing? Are they all being manufactured in only a few factories? Or are they actually being made somewhere owned by the company? – Mike B
Unlike the major ball manufacturers, nobody owns their own club factories so, in that respect, everybody is a little bit DTC.
With allowances for the fact that everybody borrows a little bit from everybody else, the difference is that OEM products are 100-percent designed by the manufacturer. A good bit of the DTC stuff comes from what’s called “open molds.” From there, designs are tweaked—milling, logos, whatever the DTC company doing the ordering wants. The idea is to add a bit of unique flair to make the product stand out in the marketplace.
