The new Shot Scope CONNEX Performance Tracking System is many things. But it’s important to first focus on what it isn’t.

It’s not a step backward in technology. It’s not a replacement for the new (relatively) Shot Scope X5 golf GPS watch/shot tracking system. And it’s not a replacement for the H4 golf GPS/Shot tracking unit, either.

Shot Scope CONNEX isn’t replacing anything in the Shot Scope lineup.

What is it?

It is, in fact, an option to get into fully functional shot tracking, Strokes Gained data and a complete analytics package for your game. And, technically, it’s less than $100.

How I Found It

Finding this was a bit of a happy accident. Recently, I have been doing my own club repairs and building some irons. I have purchased many items through Amazon. 

As I was browsing, there was a list of accessories and random golf products which Amazon felt I would be interested in. They were right as this accessory pack had items I needed and wanted.

How It Works (or Doesn’t)

In 2023, Bettinardi is celebrating a quarter-century of making putters. Robert J. Bettinardi was making putters before 1998 but that was the year he set off to open his own shop.

To celebrate this milestone, Bettinardi Golf is releasing a different limited-edition putter each month to showcase their designs from the past 25 years.

Since this is the seventh month of the calendar year, the Bettinardi 25th Anniversary BB43 limited-edition putter represents the seventh putter in the series. This one takes us back almost to the beginning of Bettinardi Golf.

While there was a BB43 in Bettinardi’s 2014 putter line, this BB43 is really more about the one made in the year 2000.

Back when we thought all of our computers were going to crash, Bettinardi rolled out the original Millennium Series putters. The circa-2000 Millenium series putters featured milled stainless steel construction, brass face plugs and Bettinardi’s honeycomb face milling. Take that, Y2K!
