Scotty Cameron is releasing 10 new Phantom putter models in 2024.All putters are milled, multi-material designs.Pricing is $449 for the standard models and $499 for the Phantom 11 Long Design. The Phantom 5, Phantom 7 and Phantom 9 models in stores March 29, with the Phantom 11 models arriving May 17.
Scotty Cameron is releasing new Phantom mallets in 2024. The official number is 10. However, that total comes from four new Phantom head shapes and their various neck options.
Changing the neck on a putter does essentially change it into a different-looking and -playing putter. As such, I agree with Mr. Cameron’s model count. I only bring this up because I didn’t want any Cameron fans to end up disappointed when they didn’t see 10 unique head shapes.
The new Phantom models are a combination of old and new. On one end of the spectrum, the Phantom 5 and Phantom 7 models feature new angles in the metal but are quite similar to previous versions. In contrast, the new Phantom 9 and Phantom 11 models are complete departures from previous models. Side by side, you’d likely not guess those two would have the same names as previous versions.
Overall, there is quite a bit to unpack here. To get us started, let’s see what Scotty has to say about the new Phantom line.
2024 Scotty Cameron Phantom Putter Technology: Multi-Material Construction
Like their Phantom putter predecessors, the 2024 Scotty Cameron Phantom putters are multi-material in construction. All of the faces are 303 stainless steel. All models also feature 6061 aircraft aluminum sole plates and flanges of various sizes.

COBRA has updated their 3D PRINTED and Vintage putters for 2024 and that brings up a key question.
Why doesn’t COBRA have more of a presence in the putter market?
Is it brand awareness? Lack of Tour play? I have no idea. That said, I do think that COBRA putters have as much to offer as other putters from the big-name companies. COBRA putters have technologies to help golfers putt better and the large model cohort is diverse enough that matching a putter to the individual should not be an issue.
Bottom line: COBRA makes good putters. The COBRA 3D-printed King Grandsport 35 was the Most Wanted Blade in 2022, literally performing better than the blade putters from all other manufacturers. In 2023, it didn’t repeat the victory but still placed fifth overall out of 27 putters.
Though the success of the Grandsport 35 was not repeated throughout the rest of their lineup, the success does tell me that COBRA engineers know how to make putters. Perhaps this new release will be the one that pushes COBRA 3D PRINTED and Vintage putters into the foreground where all usual indicators say they should be.
Cobra is pushing putter technology forward with their new 3D printed line, while still offering classic styling with their vintage option.

In terms of private clubs where members and their guests can play, the city is close to some legendary venues such as Shinnecock Hills, National Golf Links of America, Winged Foot and Oak Hill Country Club. Located in Long Island close to New York City, Bethpage is home to five of the best public golf courses in the United States including the world famous Bethpage Black, one of the most notoriously difficult courses in the country. Black has hosted the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship and will host the 2025 Ryder Cup.

At the foot of the Whitestone Bridge, where New York’s East River meets the Long Island Sound, this is a tournament worthy links with rolling mounds of fescue alongside pristine fairways and greens with a state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot clubhouse.
A Pete Dye design 40 miles northeast of Manhattan with perfectly manicured undulating fairways and greens. One of the most beautiful courses in the state, there’s woods, wetlands, water hazards, rocks and boulders with expansive views of the surrounding countryside from the highest points. Though it’s public-access, it feels and plays like a high-end private club and it’s a tranquil escape from the big city.
